The Hive Wine Consulting was founded in 2012 by Justin Howard-Sneyd MW.

Our mission is to create a world in which everyone loves drinking wine.

(OK, maybe ‘everyone’ is a bit hopeful – perhaps we should say: ‘everyone of legal drinking age who is not precluded by religion or health reasons’).

But we are ambitious and optimistic.

We work with a number of wine companies, wine producers, and wine retailers to help them achieve their potential.

“I have very much enjoyed working with Justin on improving the world class wine list for the re-launch of Chutney Mary last year.

With a very tight deadline, Justin was able to assimilate a huge amount of information about how our previous wine list was working, and to make recommendations about which wines were performing well and which could be replaced.

We then tasted a large number of wines before whittling the list down to the core 90 wines currently on our list, and Justin wrote descriptions and proof-read the wine list in time for our launch in late May 2015.

We were impressed with the way he works and asked him to review the list again in May 2016.” (and every year since)
